We are creating pathways to support for LGBTIQ+, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people at risk of suicide. This website is part of the Talking Heals campaign, connecting you to specialist LGBTIQ+ services in the greater Brisbane area and providing advice and support to LGBTIQ+ people and Sistergirls and Brotherboys.
This campaign has been developed in response to the increased rates of suicide and self harm amongst LGBTIQ+, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people.

gar'ban'djee'lum is a referral partner. They can connect Aborigianl and/or Torres Strait Islander Sistergirl and Brotherboy folk to culturally safe frontline service providers for the NSPT. gar'ban'djee'lum is an independent social network for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender people, Sistergirls and Brotherboys (GLBTSB) in and around Brisbane.

Y2K
Youth2Knowledge (Y2K) is an Indigenous owned mental health organisation.
We work on a national scale with high schools, Indigenous communities and individuals to develop innovative programs for the youth.
Y2K offers a range of wellness programs such as
Indigenous health, mental health, substance awareness, nutrition, and building resilience against suicide.

Wendybird is a not-for-profit community group led by a collective of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) people who are working together to intentionally grow a safer and always supportive community for people of diverse bodies, genders, relationships and sexualities, their friends, families and children to find meaningful connections.

We do this by informing, influencing and enhancing suicide prevention through the lived experience and supporting organisations to effectively and meaningfully engage lived experience expertise.

Local understanding is a key attribute of our organisation. We operate from 5 clinics and 16 outreach locations across Queensland and adapt our approach to the unique needs of the community. This is true of all our work, including our relationships and sexuality education programs, our award-winning child safety programs and counselling for people who have experienced sexual abuse.
